The human behind DigiDaddy
Hey, I’m Chris.
DigiDaddy is short for Digital Daddy — which is honestly just me in two words. I spend my days deep in the digital world, building systems and hunting for smarter ways to work, while still making sure I’m fully there for my wife and son. This blog is where those two worlds meet.
What I actually do
For the last 10+ years I’ve lived in operations — and right now, I’m deep in the day-to-day of it, juggling tools, systems, and processes, and constantly looking for smarter ways to get things done using AI and automation.
If something is repetitive, I’d rather teach a machine to do it.
How I ended up here
My path here was a bit of a winding road. I started in internal audit, trained to spot what’s broken. Then I moved into operations, where I finally got to fix it. And somewhere along the way I fell hard for automation and AI, which let me make those fixes actually stick.
That mix is the lens I bring to everything here: I spot problems like an auditor, solve them like an ops lead, and automate them like a builder.
What I tinker with
I’m a tinkerer by nature. When the workday ends, I’m usually still building something.
Why I built DigiDaddy
In ten years of operations, I kept noticing the same quiet problem: a gap between people who pick up new tech instantly and people who get left behind, often the most experienced, capable people in the room, simply because no one slowed down to show them how.
DigiDaddy is my attempt to close that gap. I test the tools, build the automations, break things, and write it all down in plain language, so anyone who finds this stuff intimidating can start working smarter without needing to be technical.
No hype. No jargon. Just what actually works.
Let’s figure this out together.
If you’re trying to keep up with AI without drowning in it, you’re in the right place. Stick around, the best is yet to come.
